***Winner Alert*** Congratulations to comment #108! Tabathia, watch your email for a message!
It was a big day when baby L started crawling. She didn’t just crawl a few inches and lay down, satisfied with her accomplishment like her older sister did. No, she reveled in her new found freedom and could be found zooming around, getting into everything. She’s quite independent, that one.
Now that she’s on the very brink of walking, I can’t help but think how much easier this will make everything.
That’s sarcasm, y’all.
When babies start walking, they’re ready to take on the world, and there’s no way they are going to let mom hold them back…even for a diaper change. My dear cousin put it perfectly when she said handling baby L, or any baby really, is like operating a taffy puller.
Diaper changes are a huge struggle at our house right now. Why in the world would a baby on the move want to pause, lay down on her back, and wait while mom changes a diaper? I have to brace her on the floor, a leg on each side of her body and try to whip a diaper on as fast as possible, all while she’s trying spin.
Luckily the folks over at Huggies have just the solution to this challenge. Huggies Little Movers Slip-on Diapers are designed for vertical diaper changes on the go! Gone are the cumbersome horizontal changes. With these, you can actually dress your baby while they are standing. They pull on just like training pants, have stretchy sides for on-the-go babies, finger tabs so they pull off just as easy as they go on, and come in sizes 3-7.
Baby L is no match for these slip-on diapers. She can continue to explore her world and mommy can change her without disrupting her explorations. Huggies Little Movers are very absorbent and leak-proof, but also very comfortable for L. She can cruise around, leaving a wake of baby destruction, while staying dry and not having painful red marks on her chunky thighs from diapers that are too tight.
When your baby starts walking, they start to gain a sense of confidence and independence. The last thing they want to do is stop and lay down for a change. Standing up and walking gives them a sense of freedom. As your baby develops, so should the way you change their diaper. Stop changing and start dressing for their diaper change!
