Addressing a large and fervent congregation of the people in Tehran on Friday, Ayatollah Emami Kashani said, "We saw few days ago that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei called on the Muslim leaders not to remain silent towards the suppression of the nations in their countries, specially Palestine and Yemen."
He said as the Supreme Leader stressed Muslims should have unity and consensus to fight the foreign aggressors.
In relevant remarks on Tuesday, Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that the US is overstepping its boundaries in recognizing al-Quds (Jerusalem) as Israel’s “capital" and planning to move its embassy there, saying such measures are in vain.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with participants in the 13th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference in Tehran.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the recent decisions by the US officials concerning Jerusalem al-Quds as "arrant erring", and said, "They will not be able to carry out this measure and their efforts will not bear fruit."
On December 6, US President Donald Trump defied global warnings and said Washington formally recognized al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the “capital” of Israel and would begin the process of moving its embassy to the occupied city, breaking with decades of American policy.
Trump's declaration has sent shock waves throughout the Muslim world and even prompted warnings from Washington’s allies in the West that it would bring more chaos to the region.
Ayatollah Khamenei also said the Palestinian cause is among the main issues of the Muslim world, adding, "In the Palestinian issue, the three incidents of 'land occupation', 'mass expulsion of millions of people' and 'massacre and horrible crime against humanity' occurred."
The Supreme Leader said that these acts of oppression have never ever happened against any other nation.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the importance of countering the "conspiracy of silence" aimed at cosigning to oblivion the main issues of the Muslim world, particularly the Palestinian cause.
The Supreme Leader urged Muslim countries to counter the "dangerous and horrific Western propaganda empire" which, the Leader said, is run by Zionists.
Ayatollah Khamenei warned that the important issue of Palestine is being totally ignored by the international community.
The Supreme Leader emphasized that the Muslim world must now play a role in "important and fundamental issues" and prevent the reoccurrence of the "bitter experience of the past decades and dominance of powers and their long-term effects".
Ayatollah Khamenei urged the Muslim countries to be explicit vis-à-vis the fundamental issues of the Muslim world in order to be able to influence public opinion and set trends.
The Supreme Leader emphasized the significance of "unity in the Muslim world" and said unity in the Muslim world which enjoys enormous facilities and a very crucial global status can prepare the ground for the formation of a "big and influential power."
Ayatollah Khamenei added that Muslim countries should not allow discord, war and bloodshed, whose main cause are the US and Zionists, to establish a safe haven for the Zionist regime.
The Supreme Leader further pointed to the US claim on advocating human rights and said the current US president is stating the country's stances "very nakedly and explicitly."
Ayatollah Khamenei called on the Muslim nations to help resolve the crises in Yemen and Bahrain as they are among the important issues of the Muslim world.
The Supreme Leader also said the Iranian nation has managed to thwart the enemies' economic war against the Islamic Republic, including sanctions, through its resistance.
In relevant remarks in early December, Ayatollah Khamenei blasted Israel for declaring Holy al-Quds as the capital of the occupied Palestine, and reiterated that the Palestinians will be free in the near future.
"They claim they would turn Quds to the capital city of the occupying Palestine and this proves their incapability against the Resistance Movement; they are hands-tied regarding the Palestinian issue and they cannot achieve their goals; the victory of Islamic Ummah is imminent and Palestine will be free and their people will be victorious," the Supreme Leader said, addressing participants of the 31st Islamic Unity Conference and ambassadors of Muslim countries to Iran along with senior Iranian officials on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the sixth Shiite Imam, Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS).
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that Palestine will be free, and said, "The Zionists' aim to declare Quds the capital of the occupied Palestine which indicates their inability and failure.
"Today, the enemies, the United States, the global Arrogance and the Zionist regime have lined up against the Islamic Ummah and the path of the Prophet; they and all their allies are today's pharaohs who aim to launch war in the region," the Supreme Leader added.
"The US officials have always notified they want to launch war in the region to maintain the security of the Zionist regime," he further said.
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that "we have no discord among Muslim nations. We are up for unity; but, if there are people who are against this movement that is interested in unity and they are after staging war, we advise them that the outcome of what some states, in region, are doing will be as Quran says, 'their own destruction'."
"Today, unfortunately, there are rulers and elites in this region that dance to the tune of the US: they do whatever the US desires against Islam," he noted.
He went on to say that today the "Pharaoh is the US, the Zionist regime and their followers in the region" who want to stage wars in the region; this is US' plot".
In relevant remarks in late June, Ayatollah Khamenei underlined the need for unity among Muslim countries and nations against the occupying regime of Israel.
