DIY Valentine’s Day Gifts

Check out a bit of live theater as a way to show your significant other that you’re more than just your good looks.

If classic romantic comedy is your taste, Tulsa Community College Department of Theater is presenting Noel Coward’s comedy

“Blithe Spirit,” about a man beset by the ghost of his first wife.

If anarchy is more your style, be one of the first people to see

“Four Chords and a Gun,” a new play by actor John Ross Bowie (“The Big Band Theory,” “Speechless”) presented by Tulsa Project Theatre.

If you’re after more thought-provoking fare, Theatre Pops is presenting

“Assassins,” the Stephen Sondheim-John Weidman musical about nine people whose ideas about the American Dream morphed into the compulsion to try to kill the President. Enjoy specialty sandwiches and themed craft cocktails with the show.

And if you’re wanting to take part in a Tulsa tradition,

“The Drunkard” (pictured) will continue its never-ending run at the Spotlight Theatre.

Tickets: TCC Theater, 918-595-7777, Tulsa Project Theatre, 918-596-7111, Theatre Pops, Spotlight Theatre, 918-587-5030,
